Veda reverberates knowledge that exists in every grain of creation. This knowledge can be found at the source of philosophical and religious belief systems. Veda is not a human creation. It is the verbal fluxuations of consciousness on the level of "Being" cognized by those who are able to hear, remember and express them. The Vedas have been transmitted / chanted in the oral tradition of the Vedic families in India for thousands of years. In recent times, Veda and the Vedic literature have been recorded in book form.

The totality of the Vedas is organized into 40 never-changing sequentially unfolding clusters of universal Laws of Nature. The articulation of these Laws of Nature into matter underlies the art which refers to expressions of knowledge such as books, scrolls, tablets, collected papers, vitrines, etc. This universe of inner awareness is the core of inspiration for the Veda project. The Veda Project was installed for 5 months in the circle of display cases which are a permanent architectural configuration at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California. The 40' diameter circle is located in the center of a library that contains or represents in virtual form most of the sacred texts in existence.

The exhibition / illumination is an expression of my visual understanding and experience of these ancient and eternal Vedic cognitions.

"Yoga Journal" Review of Exhibition

The eternal Laws of Nature are the flow of pure intelligence; the whirlpool or spiralling co-existence of silence and dynamism within the infinite ocean of transcendental consciousness.
